Common Issues

Troubleshooting Guide

Quick solutions to the most common problems

Transaction is stuck or not processed

Common

Problem: Your transaction was not confirmed or failed to execute.

Solution:
  1. Check your available CPU and NET resources in the wallet.
  2. Stake additional resources if your account has insufficient CPU or NET.
  3. Verify that your account has enough RAM for the transaction.
  4. Retry the transaction after resolving resource or connection issues.

Cannot see my tokens or balance

Common

Problem: Your token balance does not appear in the wallet.

Solution:
  1. Confirm you are connected to the correct Vaulta network (Mainnet or Testnet).
  2. Verify the account name you are viewing.
  3. Add the token manually using its contract account.
  4. Check your balance using a Vaulta block explorer.
  5. Refresh the wallet or restart the application.

Forgot password or lost recovery phrase

Critical

Problem: You cannot access your wallet due to a forgotten password or lost recovery phrase.

Solution:
  1. Forgot password: Use your recovery phrase to restore access.
  2. Lost recovery phrase: If you still have access, create a new wallet and transfer funds immediately.
  3. Lost both password and recovery phrase: Funds cannot be recovered.
  4. Store your recovery phrase offline in multiple secure locations.

Sent to wrong account

Critical

Problem: You sent tokens to an incorrect Vaulta account name.

Solution:
  1. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
  2. If you know the account owner, contact them directly.
  3. If the account belongs to an exchange, contact their support.
  4. Always verify the full account name before confirming transactions.

Wallet won't connect to a dApp

Common

Problem: Your wallet does not connect or respond to a decentralized application.

Solution:
  1. Make sure the dApp supports the Vaulta network.
  2. Check that you are connected to the correct chain ID.
  3. Verify your RPC endpoint settings.
  4. Approve the connection request inside the wallet.
  5. Refresh the dApp or restart the wallet.

Installation or update issues

Common

Problem: The wallet fails to install, update, or launch.

Solution:
  1. Verify your system meets the minimum requirements.
  2. Download the installer only from the official Vaulta website.
  3. Verify the SHA256 checksum of the downloaded file.
  4. Temporarily disable antivirus software if installation is blocked.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Vaulta Wallet

Vaulta Wallet is a desktop application built specifically for the Vaulta blockchain. It allows users to manage named accounts, sign transactions locally, stake tokens, and interact with decentralized applications using the native Vaulta account model.

Vaulta uses named accounts instead of random hexadecimal addresses. Each account has structured permission levels, which makes it easier to manage access, set custom roles, and configure advanced security setups.

Private keys are generated and encrypted locally on your device. They are never transmitted to external servers. The wallet only broadcasts signed transactions to the network.

Each Vaulta account can have multiple permission levels such as owner and active. These permissions define which actions can be performed and which keys are authorized. Advanced users can configure custom permissions or multi-signature setups.

Vaulta does not rely on per-transaction gas fees. Instead, accounts use allocated resources to perform actions on-chain. This model allows predictable execution without bidding for transaction priority.

Yes. You can import and manage multiple Vaulta accounts within the same wallet instance. Each account maintains its own permissions and resource allocations.

Yes. Vaulta Wallet can connect to supported dApps and sign transactions requested by them. The wallet prompts you to review and approve each action before it is executed.

Yes. The wallet supports interaction through RPC endpoints and signing interfaces, allowing developers to integrate dApps and custom tools.

Yes. Advanced users can connect the wallet to a custom Vaulta RPC endpoint. This allows flexibility in choosing network infrastructure providers.

Yes. The Vaulta permission system allows multi-signature configurations. The wallet can participate in signing transactions that require multiple approvals.

Vaulta Wallet can be used for long-term storage if private keys and recovery data are securely backed up offline. For additional protection, hardware wallet integration is recommended.

Vaulta Wallet is designed for the Vaulta blockchain and compatible environments. Network selection depends on the configured chain ID and RPC endpoint.
